Pascagoula’s Mayor and City Council are continuing to support businesses in the community by highlighting area businesses at the bi-monthly council meetings. Citizens and area businesses are encouraged to submit the form (below) to be considered for recognized at an upcoming City Council meeting.
During the ‘Business Spotlight' Mayor Maxwell will announce the business highlighted that week and will show a brief video showcasing the business. Representatives of the business will be notified of their selection for recognition, and are invited to bring employees, family and friends to the council meeting.
“We are Pascagoula, and we want to make sure we are supporting our local economy by supporting and promoting our local businesses to those attending or watching City Council meetings," said Mayor Dane Maxwell. "This is another way to show every one that we are a city proud of its business community - and a great place to own a business."
‘Business Spotlight’ applications are accepted year round. The deadline to be considered for an upcoming council meeting is the Monday prior to scheduled meetings. For questions, please contact Caroline Bishop in our Community Relations Department at 228-372-6888.
