Animal Control
The Animal Control Division’s primary concern is your safety and that of your pet. It is their job to rid the streets of unwanted or abandoned animals while ensuring those that are lost or misplaced are cared for until the owner
can be found. They can be reached through the Department of Public Works. Please call 938-6623. If you find an animal, either near your home or on a public street, please do not attempt to apprehend it yourself. By
contacting the Animal Control Division, an officer will arrive and handle the situation for you. They are trained and equipped to handle various domestic and feral animals. Also, they can provide a trap to capture the elusive animal. If you
should need animal control after business hours please call the Pascagoula Police Department at 762-2211.
