The Pascagoula Parks and Recreation Department's aim is to provide cultural and athletic events to adults and children. The department has over 100 acres of parks and
recreational facilities. We also provide the community with 13 tennis courts,
19 lighted ball fields, 3 jogging trails, a Senior Center, the Andrew
Johnson Recreation Center, the Scranton Nature Center, and Scranton Museum. The Parks and Recreation Department is proud of its new 9-field
soccer complex. The Pascagoula Parks & Recreation Department offices are
temporarily located at 4011 14th Street. You will find them in the
double-wide mobile home in the fenced area behind the Code Enforcement
Building.
Residents of Pascagoula may reserve a
pavilion at one of our parks. We also encourage teams to reserve our
ball fields for practice and tournaments. You may find out more or
reserve a facility by calling the Director's office at (228) 938-2356.
