Below is a list of procedures to ensure your cart is serviced in a timely manner:

• Place your cart out on the curb the night before your collection day.  Trucks will begin
  servicing the city at 5:00am.
• Place your cart at the curb 3 feet away from any stationary object such as cars,
  mailboxes, utility poles, fire hydrants, fencing, etc.
• Place your cart so the arrows on the lid are pointing to the street and the handle
  towards your home.
• Do NOT place your cart under wires, tree limbs, building overhangs, awnings, or
  anything else which could be damaged.  There will need to be 15 feet overhead
  clearance to empty your cart.
• Garbage outside the cart will not be collected.
• Do not place tires, car batteries, oil, chemicals, paint, automobile parts, large or
  FREON using appliances, rock, dirt, or construction debris in the cart.
• If you live on a dead-end street where a truck cannot turn around, please put your
  cart on the right hand side of the street as when you are leaving home.
