Senior Center

Pascagoula is extremely proud of its Senior Citizen Center.

Weekly events are planned such as line dancing, bridge club, fitness checks, and the always popular Tuesday's covered dish luncheon. The Center also sponsors monthly trips to local restaurants, shows and special events. The Seniors take a special trip once a year - like the one they took in 1999 to Washington D.C. and had a wonderful time. Since then they have also been two times to Branson, Key West, and Pennsylvania Dutch Country.

Canasta- Tuesday 2PM-5PM

Exercise - Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:30 AM - 9:00 AM

Ceramics - Wednesdays 7 AM - Noon

Line Dancing - Thursday 9:00 AM - 9:45 AM

Spanish Classes - Monday 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM
$5 per class

Bible Study - Thursday 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM

Golden Age Club Luncheon - Second Thursday each month at 11 AM

Fellowship Luncheon - Each Tuesday beginning at 11 AM
This is a covered dish affair with different guests or entertainers each week.

Senior Citizens Gift Shop - Open Monday thru Friday 9 AM - 4 PM.
Offers a wide selection of handmade items by local senior artists sold on consignment.

Senior Job Registry -
Offers senior citizens an opportunity to go back into the work force. Anyone interested in finding part or full time work may call the Registry at (228) 769-3031. Anyone needing an employee may call the same number.

Senior Group Travel -
The Pascagoula Senior Travel Club was formed in 1996.
We offer day trips, overnight trips and extended vacations.
Call the Center about upcoming trips. Seniors pay their own way on all trips.
